United Oromo Evangelical Churches

The United Oromo Evangelical Churches (UOEC) is a growing fellowship of 37 member churches with more than 3,500 believers. We are dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel, nurturing our congregations, and engaging in both local and global evangelism. In addition, UOEC supports humanitarian initiatives in Ethiopia.
Recently, our fellowship has joyfully welcomed Ebenezer Oromo Evangelical Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Rehoboth Oromo Evangelical Church of Philadelphia, and the reinstated Oromo Evangelical Church of Portland into our family.
Rooted in unity, faith, and spiritual growth, the UOEC Council guides the admission of new members and encourages the active participation of all congregations. We warmly invite you to join us in our mission to glorify God and make disciples of all nations.
